What a great way to start fall. We decided last spring to take a vacation out to Vermont, but had decided to revisit a place of beauty and a great representation of the gateway to the north east from the midwest. We did not bring the bikes for the whole of the trip sadly (a lot of incidents with bikes going missing off racks). We stayed for 2 days and tried to get lost where we could and find places to eat and do everything we could in this small town. We did the "Maid Of The Mist" and the boat was called Nikola Tesla (very cool). It's been about 4 years since the last time we came to Niagara Falls. We went down to the "Cave Of The Winds" the first time and had a blast.
I am glad we decided though to take the "Maid Of The Mist" this go around and get an awesome view as well and an up close experience with the falls. It's a wonderful feeling traveling and getting to enjoy experiences that involve a cold boat ride followed up with a hot cup of coffee or cappuccino. We spent the morning on our second day at a nice cafe called "The Spot". I ordered a Belgium waffle and man was it great! The hot cappuccino went great with our morning walk around town and our friend the black squirrel (I named him Fred) joined us and we took a city tour which was awesome to see the different monuments and things we had missed on our first short vacation last time. Our two day stay was well spent.
Stay tuned for the Vermont photos next post!
Below are a mixture of different photos we took at the falls and around town please enjoy.
